Finally done : the tiling

This wall was the toughest one!

DSCN0966

I had to cut the tiles around the pipes and it was NOT easy!  It took me 5 hours to do this one wall.  I’m not sure what I was thinking when I took this on, but I’m in the homestretch now. Sunday I will grout, Monday I will seal the grout.  Maybe the bathroom will be usable next weekend :)

I apologize to my friends that have been kind enough to leave me comments, that I haven’t replied to; I’ve had a really, really, really hectic week.

I do believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel :)

Have a great weekend.

  1. I enjoy tiling too...in my bath at Mel's Cabin, I didn't use a saw to cut tile...instead, I placed small stones in those small areas...this made the project very easy and brought out the rustic side of me...I did this treatment in my kitchen back splash and a bathroom trim. I used the tumbled tile with the little stones...effective appeal...Mel's Cabin follows you.

  2. I wouldn't even know where to start with something like that! You've done great and sounds like you just may have it completed by end of the week. Wanna see the end results.

  4. Wow! It looks great, easily just as good as my bath tile, which was professionally installed. Maybe you have a new career in the works there!
