Tree of Love

I had a really bad day today. So what’s a girl to do when she is upset?  I retreat to my craft room and create something.

This was made from a free vector image that I found online. I used SCAL to trace it, then cut it out with my Cricut.

My last homage to Valentine’s Day. Yet another cushion :)  Now I feel better.

  1. Adorable pillow. Sorry you had a bad day. Maybe now that she's had a chance to think about it, she'll realize that she was wrong to take it out on you. Enjoy your weekend!

  3. I love your cushion, it is so bright and fresh. It's never easy when someone is hurtful and I try not to respond in kind. At least then I know my integrity is intact.
You've done well to be creative to help with your hurt feelings, creativity is such a positive outlet for us when we feel lousy.
I hope you have a better week next week with no fallout from this incident.
    Enjoy your weekend.

  4. Sorry about your day. My motto is "boys are dumb", which sort of sums up why I've been happily single for 9 years. :) I like the tree pillow, the heart is a really cute accent.

  8. I want one!! I love it! With every post you make, it makes me want to start all over on my house and change my coloring to greys, blacks, and greens...I am obsessed! I hope I move into a new house soon so that I can start from scratch and do these colors! Lol!
P.S. I gave you an award on my blog. It should be posted by the end of the night...hopefully!
    Have a great weekend!

  13. I thought I left a comment already. I'm sorry about your bad day it sounds like it stunk!

I sure hope you had a glass of wine and chocolate when you got your craft on! The pillow is fabulous, wow! I wish I would dust off the old sewing machine and figure out how to sew. Maybe I just need to get my rear to Canada and learn from the pro :)

Well maybe this guy at work was just having a super bad day and don't they say that people hurt the ones they love! Not that that makes you feel any better but maybe the guy will figure out what an ass he was!

Cheer up, keep being crafty and know you are loved!
