It's give away time - rustic herb crates stencils

GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED

It's been a long time since I hosted my own giveaway. Remember my rustic herb crates?

I have two sets of vinyl stencils to give away. Although I did not make the Rosemary crate, I have recently created the stencil. You get all four stencils.

These are pre-weeded vinyl, ready to lay down on your surface, then you just paint them in. I recommend using a few very light coats of paint to reduce the risk of bleeding. They can only be used one time, they are not stencils made of acetate or mylar, but of vinyl.

So, in order to win, there has to be a hoop to jump through. Just kidding. I'd like to do something a little different this time.

Leave me a comment telling me one person that you would like to sit down and talk with, and why. That's it.
If you want to follow my blog, great, but you don't have to.

Two random winners will be chosen on Friday February 24th. Good luck, my friends.

P.S. be sure to leave your email address if you don't have one associated with your account.

  2. I would love to sit and have coffee with my very dear friend Lee Ann. We have been friends for over 30 years and recently we have both been going through very difficult times in our lives....to see her face to face, to share with her and to give her a great big hug, would mean so much to me right now!

  4. I would like to sit down with ... wow this is tougher than I thought to answer. My first thought was the Senate and the House, but that is too politically charged. So, maybe Carson Kressley who could help revamp my wardrobe. Already a follower and love the stencils..... laura@imnotatrophywife.com

  6. Love, love those crates and would love those stencils.

I would love to sit and chat with Anne Graham-Lotz, she is the daughter of Evangelist Billy Graham. I love her studies and would love to know more about her life growing up in the Graham household and her life experiences.

    Thanks for the great giveaway.

  7. This may sound crazy, but I've always wanted to sit down and talk with Thomas Jefferson. One of our founding fathers, and talk about smart! The declaration of independence and the constitution are two of the most foundational pieces of work ever created in my opinion.

I'm looking into growing herbs on my 20 acres here in the country and these would be perfect! THanks for sharing.

  9. I would love to sit down & have a long talk with my maternal grandmother, who passed away when she was only 42 & my mom was 16. I know there are many wonderful things I could learn from her, just from what everyone who knew her, has told me about her. She had 12 kids & was a sharecropper's wife from the time she 14 til she died. I would LOVE to have a conversation with her. <3 Thanks for the great giveaway & for the opportunity to tell you about the grandmother I never knew. :o)

  13. I'm so interested in using stencils with the other crafts we do for our Farmgirls Country Sale business. I'm already a follower - a new one.

In thinking about your question - my first thought was President Obama and then when I read some of the other commentors who wanted to talk to Grandmothers, Moms and other relatives...I want to talk to them too! When you lose a loved one, it seems l like while one sided conversations continue, I would like another opinion so to visit after years have passed since they have gone - that would be the best!

Thanks for the opportunity and the thought provoking question!!!

  19. I dream of sitting down with my Gammie. I miss her every day.

I am anxiously waiting for spring to see if my rosemary survivied....I use herbs in making bread, salads, vergetables and meats. It would be fun to apply the stencils to some old wood and hang them on the wall in my kitchen.

  28. I'd love to sit down with Mrs. Barr. She was my kindergarten teacher. Even though I had gone to preschool for 2 years before K, I was terrified every day to go to the new school. My sister would have to walk me from the bus to the classroom (thus making her late for class). On day, Mrs. Barr met us when we got off the bus & told my sister to go to her class & that I had to do this on my own. I stood on the sidewalk sobbing. She stood a ways away for entire 1/2 hour. Finally, I stopped crying and went to class. I did it on my own every day after that. Every time I have a trial in life that I need to overcome, I think of Mrs. Barr.

  32. i am so sorry, i should have read everything, i thought it was for the boxes, now i see it is for the stencils. and i have never used any, so, i would love to win them and give it a try. i would LOVE to sit down with my mommy, she has been gone since 2001. and to tell her about her 3 great grandsons, she never got to meet. she was on the phone when her oldest great grandson was born and she heard him cry and saw pics of him, but, never got to hold him, she was sick and didn't to make him sick and that would make my day and i know it would make hers. someday i will see her in HEAVEN and she will have a great time with her 3 great grandsons. but, i also know she is watching over them now. thank you jody

  43. My first thought was to sit down and talk with Jesus....but I figure we will have many conversations with him when we all get to heaven. And I talk to him now all day and night anyway and I know he hears me. I would love to sit down and talk to my mom again. She passed away in 1995 when I was 39 years old. Her grandkids were all 13 years old and younger. I would love to talk to her about all of her grandkids and what great young adults they became and how often we think of her and miss her. She had a beautiful flower garden and I think of her every time I see purple Iris and honeysuckle vines. Thanks for offering the contest. Your Blog is one of the most interesting and "doable" ones that I have ever come across...so keep on keeping on! Great Job! Pat Rowley
