spoon chrysanthemum mirror

I was inspired by Kristi at Addicted 2 Decorating, after seeing her amazing spoon mirror, figured I would give it a go.

I am an impatient crafter and really don’t have a lot of time, but I should have taken the time to be a little more careful with this.  It got a little wonky but I kept working away at it :)  Good thing I’m not a perfectionist.

  1. I love it, Mel. Especially the ombre effect. Where are you going to hang it?

  5. Love the color you chose. I'm still cutting the spoon handles and haven't decided what color to do mine. I've seen 3 colors now and not sure which one I like best. Great job!!

  7. When we first moved into our home our area was having a big dump removal and there were piles and piles of all kinds of furniture on the side of the road. Almost every room was furnished with this stuff after it was painted and slip covered, etc. My Mom made cushions for 2 wooden easy chairs. My husband has a desk that was an old library desk in Connecticut. Very cool. I like more interesting stuff also...not the straight out of the furniture store (that's nice, too, though). Best wishes, Linda

  8. You come up with the coolest projects, I would not have the patience to do that!

Yeah, my mojo has been impacted by outside forces (job stress insanity) so I'm not feeling all that creative. But this too shall pass, as I'm sure you have experienced yourself. :)

  9. Great job and I mean that. I kept scrolling down to see the one that you did and then realized that you are way too modest. I see no flubs at all. Once again great job Mel
